Philjames is a Finalist in the 2022 Mosman Art Prize
Congratulations to Philjames, whose work, Pleasure #5 (medium) was selected as the finalist of the 2022 Mosman Art Prize.
“This work is part of my Pleasure Island series of works just recently shown at Chalk Horse Gallery. Experiments in colour, composition and balanced chaos they aim to entice, confuse, and entice again. Despite their flat graphic nature they are slowly and methodically. I take great pleasure in this process, and also its implications: collapsing distinctions between cultural forms (art and pop) and audiences (adults and children)”.
