Kate Mitchell’s ‘Colour Fields’ at the Art Gallery of New South Wales

Over this opening weekend of the exhibitions ‘Kandinsky’ and ‘Georgiana Houghton: Invisible Friends’ at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, Kate Mitchell will be taking aura portraits and giving readings from 10.30-4pm as part of Mitchell’s ongoing ‘Colour Fields’ project.

‘Colour Fields’ is an open, ongoing experiential project that illuminates energetic existence through analogue aura photography, with each aura portrait and reading providing a path to self-awareness through colour interpretation. The project aims to remind people of their part in the interconnected web in which we all exist.
