when gerald awoke, he was a pile of fruit, vegetable, junk food and rubbish. a rat was already calling dibs on his knee, now a knob of cheese. the faeries gathered around him were giggling at his predicament, and his giant honk of an eggplant. “fuck,” thought gerald, “i’m truly fucked.”

dad used to throw fish guts and eggshells onto his chilli plant, and then piss on it as well, “thatsa spicy meatball,” he used to say. “what is a dad?” the green demon asked. “what is a piss?” the red demon asked. “get deez spicy meatballs in your mouth haha,” the blue demon chuckled, “jokes.”

the witch cackled, the moon was full, she could feel the magical power brimming from her fingertips. below, the parade of her reanimated corpes marched towards the polling booth. she was sure she had enough numbers to swing the safe seat of PenisBalls in her political favour. Once in power, she would finally be able to make everyone eat farts for breakfast.

the noise was unbearable, the screaming of the flowers didn’t let up for a second. the stink unfathomable, pig had shit themselves, and the giant blind frog they sat upon was starting to think something was amiss. / but maybe the flowers weren’t screaming and it was just pigs tinnitus and anxiety. and maybe pig hadn’t shit themselves and the fart had released without a squirt. and maybe it wasn’t a giant blind frog they sat upon, but a flat earth encased in a glass dome.
