HOME-SICK begins with a letter. A letter never received. A draft of a letter penned by Rachel’s grandmother in a call to buck up, stop crying, and in her words, crack hardy.
HOME-SICK will explore this notion of change, of growing up but not being able to let go through the lens of a land camera once belonging to Rachel’s grandmother.
HOME-SICK will also include a recreation of an imaginative Autumnal game her sister and herself used to play as children on their family property, ‘Kallateenee’.
